Tuition

Charlie's musical journey commenced at the tender age of five, and his talent led him to participate in numerous festivals and prestigious concerts along the way. During his early teenage years, he honed his skills at the Chopin Conservatoire in Warsaw and expanded on his performance feats by soloing in a 15 minute recital for the to be King Charles and Camilla, Queen consort. His exceptional prowess earned him further recognition when he toured the south of France and was featured on Polish TV as a participant in a program showcasing young national talents. Furthermore, Charlie's talents were acknowledged when he received an invitation to perform at a distinguished televised concert in Lodz, Poland.

Charlie began his teaching career whilst studying ‘Music Technology’ at the University of Surrey in 2017. He initially started out teaching privately, but was soon employed by the Surrey County Council where he began teaching individual and leading group sessions at schools all over the county. His ear for quality, positive energy and encouraging nature were amongst the many reasons why Charlie was one of the youngest teachers inspiring the young and old at ‘Surrey Arts’.

The global pandemic saw a drastic shift towards remote learning, which Charlie promptly embraced. He extended his online teaching capabilities and has since, maintained a satisfied clientele that would have otherwise been unable to ever experience the joy of his lessons. Furthermore, Charlie’s technological background allowed him to lead remote group sessions whilst also keeping the private tuition feel immersive, interactive and extremely efficient along the way.

Since his relocation to London, he has maintained to teach privately (both in person and online), specialising in three main areas:

Piano Tutoring

Charlie welcomes piano students of all levels and ages. He has taught a wide range of repertoire ranging from classical, jazz to modern and pop. He is able to share with others the joy and knowledge that had been passed onto him by music professors from all over the world. Charlie frequently prepares his students for a range of exams (such as ABRSM) as well as regular entries to festivals and competitions.   However, he is also open to taking on students who simply want to enjoy and pursue the delight of piano playing.

Music Theory

Charlie has entered a multitude of students for their music theory exams over the past years - most notably, the ABRSM grades 1-8. He also caters for those who do not wish to seek academic milestones, but rather aim to further their harmonic language and theoretical understanding of music. Whichever path you choose to take, Charlie is here to guide you on a journey that is both effective yet enjoyable.
